Orlando-area workers who make minimum wage would need to work 96 hours a week to afford a one-bedroom apartment here according to this new study by the National Low Income Housing Coalition. Is breaking records getting old yet? Yesterday Florida recorded more coronavirus deaths than any other state (including Texas which has 25 percent more people). It was the state’s second-highest number of COVID-19 deaths in a 24-hour period. The Sunshine State also reported a record-breaking 518 new hospitalizations. P.S.
