Friendly residents and growing businesses: Celebrating Orlando’s SoDo District

The city of Orlando is going through many changes, and the area south of downtown — the SoDo District — is helping lead the charge. Officially established in the fall of 2008, SoDo District’s residents have joined forces with property owners and merchants to help revitalize the Orange Avenue and Michigan Street corridors while embracing the history of the District.

The team behind the SoDo District have one mission: “To improve our community by design, empower local businesses and residents to collaborate, and create a vibrant atmosphere to live, work, and play.” Some of the excitement in The Little Big City centers around the neighborhood’s numerous free concerts, art shows, film festivals, and walkable parks.

We are partnering with SoDo District to help celebrate and tell the vibrant stories of this emerging area. By spending time with some of the many small-business owners, mom-and-pop restaurants, and local residents, we will help you connect and learn more about the growing SoDo District community.

The Pulptown Creative Studio works with brands and organizations to help them tell local stories, create meaningful engagement, and connect in Orlando.

Our goal is a more human take on advertising that’s about the mission, people, and being a part of making this city an even better place to live. If you’re into that, we’d love to chat about it. Reach out to us at sales@whereby.us, and check out our ethics and sponsorship policy here.
