Orlando is no longer messing around when it comes to the holidays. You can now visit Santa’s Cottage at Peppermint Square in Lake Nona, watch the 70th annual Christmas Parade in Winter Park, take all the selfies at Dazzling Lights in Leu Gardens, play in snow and paint with snowmen at Crayola Land, wander around the Winter Wonderland of ICE! at Gaylord Palms, or blast off on a Christmas mission at Holidays in Space in the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.Â
đ You donât have to go all the way to the North Pole to see Santa Claus.
Santa can still be found at the tried and true location: the mall. You can snap a photo with Santa at the Altamonte, Oviedo, and the Florida Mall. Or, for a more unique experience, you can go to the Bass Pro Shop (make sure to grab a reservation before you cast over), ICON Park (gonna need a ticket for this one), Wekiva Island to meet Mr. and Mrs. Clause, or to Wall Crawl where you can even book a private (or shared) session with Santa.Â
đŽMillions of lights means millions of options for gazing at Christmas spectacles.Â
Tis the season for lights. Click Orlando did the hard part so you can find the best lights in your area by county. If you are looking for something unique, you can drive through Dezerlandâs one-mile course filled with over 1.5 million lights, experience the Asian Lantern Festival at the Sanford Zoo, revel in the Dazzling Lights of Leu Gardens, or for our dinosaur lovers, check out the Christmas Lights at the Orlando Science Center.Â
đś Enjoy a not-so-Silent Night at these holiday musicals and concerts.
Hark some Christmas jams with the Orlando Repertory Theater during their new musical True North, or enjoy a moreclassical experience with A Christmas Carol at Orlando Shakes or the Trans-Siberian Orchestraâs âGhost of Christmas Eveâ at Amway. The Dr. Phillips Center has pianist Jim Brickman performing his âA Very Merry Christmasâ tour, electronic violinist Lindsey Stirling, and A Voctave Christmas performed by the vocal ensemble Voctave and the Winter Park Bach Festival Orchestra. Some park events are sold out, but you can still get tickets to the following attractions: Take âelfiesâ with Lego characters or write and send letters during Holidays at LEGOLAND; see Busch Gardens or Seaworld transformed into Christmas Town with lights, ice, holiday-inspired culinary delights, and festive shows; or experience all the holidays at EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays which features traditions from all over the world.
